डॉ. दीपक रानडे ह्यांचे शालेय शिक्षण लॉयला हायस्कूलमध्ये झाले. जुनिअर कॉलेज ज्ञान प्रबोधिनीमध्ये संपवून मग वैद्यकीय शिक्षण पुण्याच्या बी.जे. मेडिकल कॉलेजमधून प्रथम श्रेणित उत्तीर्ण झाले. पुढे तिथूनच MS जनरल सर्जरी करून न्यूरोसर्जरीचा अभ्यासक्रम KEM मुंबई येथे gold medal मिळवून पूर्ण केला.

त्यानंतर त्यांनी चिंचवड येथे सलग पंधरा वर्षे स्वतःचे चाळीस वेड्सचे हॉस्पिटल उभे करून अत्यंत यशस्वीपणे गरजू रुग्णांची सेवा केली.

DY Patil Medical College येथे न्यूरोसर्जरी विभाग स्थापनेपासून पुढे वीस वर्षे ते त्या विभागाचा प्रमुख म्हणून कार्यरत होते. त्यांनी त्या कालावधीत पंधरा विद्यार्थ्यांना न्यूरोसर्जरी अभ्यासक्रमाचे गाईड म्हणून मार्गदर्शन केले.

'जाणीव' या विषयावद्दलच्या कुतूहलापायीच त्यांनी न्यूरोसर्जरी ही शाखा निवडली होती. पण जाणीवेची कक्षा ही केवळ मेंदूपर्यंत मर्यादित नसून, पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड या जाणिवेने व्यापले आहे आणि जाणिवेचा संदर्भअध्यात्मात आणि पुंजभौतिक (quantum physics) शास्त्रातदेखील आढळतो

Dr. Deepak Ranade completed his school education at Loyola High School. After finishing his junior college studies at Gyan Prabodhini, he pursued his medical education at B.J. Medical College, Pune, where he graduated with First Class honors. He then completed his M.S. in General Surgery from the same institution and went on to specialize in Neurosurgery at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, earning a Gold Medal for his outstanding performance.

Following his specialization, Dr. Ranade established a 40-bed hospital in Chinchwad, where he successfully served patients, particularly those in need, for fifteen years.

At D.Y. Patil Medical College, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Department of Neurosurgery and subsequently served as its Head for over twenty years. During this period, he mentored and guided fifteen students through their neurosurgery training as an academic supervisor and guide.

Dr. Ranade chose Neurosurgery driven by his deep curiosity about the nature of consciousness. Over time, he realized that consciousness extends far beyond the human brain and permeates the entire universe. This understanding led him to explore the connections between consciousness, spirituality, and quantum physics.

For the past two decades, he has been deeply engaged in the study of Advaita Vedanta and Quantum Physics. As an expression of this intellectual and spiritual journey, he has authored more than 175 articles that bridge the worlds of science and spirituality. These articles have been published on Speaking Tree, the spiritual and wellness platform of The Times of India.
