श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतेवरील द्वि-खंडांत्मक भाष्याचा हा पहिला खंड. प्रस्तुत खंडात पहिला अध्याय 'अर्जुनविषादयोग 'पासून सातवा अध्याय 'ज्ञानविज्ञानयोग 'पर्यंत विस्तारपूर्वक भाष्य केले आहे. त्यासाठी जवळपास पन्नास टीकांचा संदर्भ घेतला आहे; त्याशिवाय वेदोपनिषदांतील सिद्धान्त, पुराणकथा, गीता-विचारांना पुष्टी देणारे आधुनिक वैज्ञानिक सिद्धान्त, दृष्टान्तकथा, कौटुंबिक सामाजिक जीवनातील उदाहरणं इत्यादींची योजना संदर्भानुरूप केली आहे. तात्त्विक भाषेची अभिव्यक्ती राखतानाच यथाशक्य सरळ-सोप्या भाषेत लेखन केले आहे. गीता अभ्यासकांना निरूपणासाठी प्रस्तुत भाष्य आधारभूत ठरेल; अभ्यासकांबरोबरच तरुण वाचकांनाही ग्रंथ-विषय सहज समजतील, प्रेरणादायी ठरतील; असा विश्वास वाटतो. र्वश्रेष्ठ तत्त्वज्ञान म्हणून भगवद्.

 

This is the first volume of a two part commentary on the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. In this volume, the commentary extensively covers the first chapter, “Arjun Vishadyog,” through the seventh chapter, “Gyan Vigyan Yog.” For this, references from nearly fifty commentaries have been used. In addition, the commentary incorporates principles from the Vedas and Upanishads, Puranic stories, modern scientific theories supporting Gita’s teachings, illustrative stories, and examples from family and social life, all organized according to their relevance.

While maintaining the expression of philosophical language, the writing has been done in as simple and clear a language as possible. This commentary will serve as a foundational resource for serious students of the Gita, while also making the text and its teachings easily understandable and inspiring for younger readers. The Gita, as supreme philosophy, finds thorough explanation in this work.

Rajendra Kher

He is the author of historical, mythological, and biographical novels  highly respected by literary enthusiasts. To date, he has published 18 books,  many of which have been translated into English, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil,  and Malayalam. In the film industry, he has worked for about nine years in writing,  direction, and  production. He has also worked as a director for the “Mayboli” channel. Through  Vihang Prakashan, he has published excellent books in Marathi, Hindi, English, and  Gujarati.

He is a scholar and commentator of ancient Indian scriptures. His published works  include “Geetashastra,” “Daily Bhagavad Gita,” and “Bruhat Geetashastra”  (two volumes). He has delivered nearly 500 lectures on spirituality, the  Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, and various related topics. He has also  published numerous articles and stories in Diwali annuals, newspapers, and  periodicals.
