Disha Bandhkam Navnirmitichi

प्रकाश मेढेकर (जन्म: ३० सप्टेंबर १९६१) हे स्थापत्य अभियंता असून त्यांनी १९८२ साली कॉलेज ऑफ इंजिनिअरिंग, पुणे येथून बी.ई. (स्थापत्य) पदवी प्रथम वर्ग विशेष प्रावीण्यासह प्राप्त केली आहे. भारत, इराक, ओमान आणि मलेशिया येथे विविध बांधकाम प्रकल्पांवर काम करण्याचा त्यांना ३५ वर्षांचा प्रदीर्घ अनुभव आहे. निवासी, व्यापारी, औद्योगिक, मरीन व पायाभूत सुविधांच्या प्रकल्पांमध्ये त्यांनी कार्य केले आहे. अभियांत्रिकी क्षेत्रातील अद्ययावत तंत्रज्ञान, पर्यावरणपूरक बांधकाम पद्धती व साहित्य यांवर त्यांनी १५० हून अधिक लेख विविध माध्यमांत प्रकाशित केले आहेत. ते अनेक व्यावसायिक संस्थांचे मानद सदस्य असून ‘दिशा बांधकाम नवनिर्मितीची’ आणि ‘Key for Practical Construction’ ही त्यांची पुस्तके प्रकाशित आहेत. त्यांच्या उल्लेखनीय कार्याबद्दल त्यांना डॉ. ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम यांच्याकडून प्रशंसा तसेच विविध मान्यवर पुरस्कारांनी सन्मानित करण्यात आले आहे.

Prakash Medhekar (born 30 September 1961) is a civil engineer who completed  his B.E. (Civil) with first-class distinction from the College of Engineering, Pune in 1982. He has over 35  years of extensive experience working on construction projects in India, Iraq,  Oman, and Malaysia. His work includes residential, commercial, industrial,  marine, and infrastructure projects. He has published more than 150 articles  in various media on advanced engineering technologies, eco-friendly construction methods, and modern materials. He is an honorary member  of several professional institutions and the author of books such as “Disha  Bandhkam Navnirmitichi” and “Key for Practical Construction.” He has received  several awards for his contributions, including appreciation from former  President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
