बऱ्याच वेळा बालसाहित्यिक आपल्या बालपणीच्या ऐवजावरच लिहीत राहतात. पण इथे लेखक सतत मुलांच्या सान्निध्यात असल्यामुळे बदलत्या पिढीप्रमाणे त्यांची कथा बदलत गेलेली दिसते.
यातील कथांमधून भाऊ-बहीण, मित्र-मैत्री यांसारख्या नात्यांचा गौरव केला आहे. तर, ‘गर्वाचे घर’मध्ये बालवयात नकळत निर्माण झालेल्या अहंकाराचा प्रभाव लेखक खेळीमेळीने दाखवून देतो. ‘माझ्यासाठी तीच विठाई’मध्ये मुलांमधला उपजत समजूतदारपणा दिसतो. ‘थिरकले चिमुकले पाऊल’मध्ये वारली नृत्याविषयीची आस्था निर्माण होईल असे केले आहे. प्राणिजीवन, भूतदया, निसर्गाकडे बघायचा निकोप दृष्टिकोन याकडेही लेखक चिमुकल्यांचे लक्ष वेधतो.

In “Garvache Ghar” (House of Pride), the author playfully depicts the influence of ego that unconsciously develops in childhood. In “Majhyasathi Tich Vithai” (She is the Vitai for Me), the innate understanding and empathy among children is highlighted. “Thirkale Chimukale Paau” (Tiny Feet Danced) fosters an appreciation for Warli dance.
The author also draws children’s attention to animal life, compassion for living beings, and a wholesome perspective towards nature.
