Leena Anand Damle
M.Sc. (Nuclear Physics); completed a three-year course in the  German language

She has authored books such as Story-Based Astronomy, Into the Depths of Space, and Nakshatra Katha. She has also  translated the renowned scientist Michio Kaku’s book Physics of the  Impossible into Marathi under the title Ashakya Bhautiki.

She has contributed entries on astronomy to the Marathi Vishwakosh  (Encyclopedia). Her articles and series have been published in leading  newspapers and magazines.

She has written science-based content for All India Radio (Akashvani).

Her book Story-Based Astronomy received the Government of Maharashtra’s prestigious Raja Kelkar Award for outstanding literature (2006). Her children’s story collection  Nakshatra Katha was distributed across schools by the state government.

For her contributions to science writing, she received the Late Go. Ra.  Paranjape Special Author Award, instituted by the Late M. Na. Gogate,  from the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Pune (2019).

She was invited to conduct a session on astronomy and mythology at the India  International Science Festival. She also represented India at the Stars of  Asia workshop held in Tokyo, Japan, in 2009, which focused on astronomy-related mythologies of Asian countries.

A researcher, author, TEDx speaker, and a distinguished alumnus of  UDCT–ICT, he is widely known as an engaging and impactful speaker.

He brings awareness to the remarkable knowledge systems, technological  advancements, and the deep antiquity of Indian civilization. His arguments  are built on sharp intellect, objective evidence, and scientific and logical reasoning.

He has conducted in-depth studies of numerous global civilizations as well as a wide range of subjects.

He is associated with the Institute of Advanced Sciences in Dartmouth,  Massachusetts, as a researcher and adjunct faculty member.

Rupa Bhati

She has studied Surya Siddhanta, Vedanga Jyotisha, and other ancient Indian  Sanskrit texts. She has published extensive research papers in the field of  archaeology. For the past 30 years, she has been engaged in studying the  Rigveda in relation to human evolution.

She has been involved in various programs related to architectural design  and archaeology.

She actively participates in environmental conservation efforts and has  planted around 2,000 trees in the Kutch region. While serving as Chief  Architect at the  Gandhidham Development Authority, she made it mandatory to plant one tree in  every household.

In her leisure time, she enjoys canvas painting. Her artworks have been exhibited in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gandhidham, receiving appreciation from eminent  personalities and critics.

Following the devastating earthquake of 2000, she worked tirelessly with  the city development committee and various NGOs to help restore  Gandhidham to its former state. Her efforts were also recognized by the  Association for Women in Architecture (AWA), USA.

She is an honorary member of the International Federation of Housing and  Planning (IFHP), The Hague.
