After becoming a child widow, Venabai immersed herself in the study of scriptures and developed a deep spiritual inclination. A transformative phase of her life began when Samarth Ramdas entered her life as her revered spiritual guide. Under his guidance, Venabai underwent a remarkable transformation.

Though delicate in stature, Venabai, following Samarth's command, eventually became an accomplished author of religious texts. She later rose to the position of the head of the monastery at Miraj and built a devoted circle of disciples. With authority and dedication, she carried forward the mission and teachings of Samarth Ramdas.

Her journey is truly astonishing. Despite facing societal opposition, Venaswami stands as an inspiring example of how a woman can attain extraordinary heights in the spiritual realm through determination, devotion, and inner strength. For this reason, her biography is sure to remain a source of inspiration even in the present day.

A poet with a spiritual essence. She has published two poetry collections.

In addition to poetry, she has written stories and novels, including works like  Mushafiri and Beej Ankure Ankure, a book based on experiments related to  value education. She has also published biographical novels based on the  lives of Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Mata Amritanandamayi.

Her research at the Pune-based institution Gyanprabodhini has resulted in biographical writings on Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Sister Nivedita.

She has also published the essay collection Sanskruticha Prasadkhuna, which  focuses on Indian culture and its timeless values, and it has received an excellent  response from readers.

Other notable works include the Marathi translations of the English book Manache  Shlok: Muktabhashya and the Hindi translation of the Marathi book Vatsalysindhu  Sai.
