About the Author

Dr. Nadeem Mohsin is a doctorate in Economics and a Postgraduate degree holder in Psychology with specialisation in Clinical Psychology and Counselling. He has published seven books, more than fifty articles in reputed journals in India and abroad and more than forty project reports on research documentation, monitoring evaluation, sponsored by major international donors, embassies, and UN agencies. He is a Visiting Professor and Freelance Development Sector Consultant. His clients include the Norwegian, Australian and Canadian High Commissions, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), International Labour Organisation (ILO), Terres De Hommes (TDH), Germany, India Canada Cooperation Office (ICCO), Plan International, Save the Children UK, Finland and India Country Office, Tata Trust, Central Ministries, State Government Departments, NGOs, and Private Limited Companies and academic institutes.

During his professional career, he was invited to participate and present papers in National Conferences, Seminars and Workshops in different parts of the country. He was also invited to make presentations in International Conferences in UK, the Middle East, Far East and Europe. Dr. Mohsin was the Principal Investigator (Project Director) of the National Child Abuse Study, the largest study of its kind in the world, sponsored by UNICEF,
