Ayushyawar Bolato Kahi

डॉ. मधुकर साबणे यांचा जन्म ७ जुलै १९४२ रोजी झाला. त्यांनी एम.एस्सी.

 आणि पीएच.डी. (रसायनशास्त्र)  पुणे विद्यापीठातून पूर्ण केली असून मे १९७०  मध्ये जर्मन भाषेचा डिप्लोमा प्राप्त केला. सन १९६५ ते जुलै २००२ या  कालावधीत त्यांनी पुणे येथील राष्ट्रीय रासायनिक प्रयोगशाळेत नैसर्गिक  रबर, कृत्रिम रबर, मेम्ब्रेन तसेच  विविध प्लॅस्टिक व पॉलिमर पदार्थांवर संशोधन  केले असून त्यांच्या संशोधनपर निबंधांना आंतरराष्ट्रीय नियतकालिकांत  प्रसिद्धी मिळाली आहे. सामान्य लोक व विद्यार्थ्यांना प्लॅस्टिक आणि पॉलिमर  पदार्थांची माहिती  सुलभपणे समजावी यासाठी त्यांनी मराठी व हिंदीतून लेखन  के ले तसेच पुणे  आकाशवाणी केंद्रावर विज्ञान  परिचय, दैनंदिन विज्ञान आणि नाते निसर्गाशी या कार्यक्रमांतून भाषणे दिली.  त्यांच्या प्रकाशित पुस्तकांमध्ये  किमया प्लॅस्टिकची, शिल्पकार प्लॅस्टिकचे,  प्लॅस्टिक का रोचक संसार, नाते  प्लॅस्टिकशी, पंधरावे रत्न :  प्लॅस्टिक आणि प्लॅस्टिक युगाचे मानकरी यांचा समावेश होतो. तसेच त्यांनी दांचा   कावळा, देशमुखांचा वाडा,  देवाघरचे ज्ञात कुणाला, मनाचिये गुंफी, दर्भाचा कावळा  २, रॅलर आणि अशी  माणसे अशा भेटी हे कथासंग्रहही प्रकाशित केले असून त्यांच्या  कथा विविध दिवाळी  अंकांतही प्रसिद्ध झाल्या आहेत. 

त्यांच्या मनाचिये गुंफी आणि दर्भाचा कावळा या कथासंग्रहांची ग्रंथ  निवड समितीने निवड केली आहे. संशोधन आणि साहित्य या दोन्ही  क्षेत्रांतील कार्याबद्दल त्यांना NRDC नवी दिल्लीचा १९७९ मधील पुरस्कार,  CSIR द्वितीय पारितोषिक (१९९६), इंडियन सोसायटी ऑफ प्लॅस्टिकचा  सोशल अवेअरनेस अवॉर्ड (१९९४), पुणे महानगरपालिकेचे सुवर्ण  महोत्सवी गौरव पदक (१९९७) तसेच ‘आर्टिस्ट ऑफ द इयर २०००’ हा सन्मान  मिळाला आहे. त्यांच्या कार्याची दखल घेऊन त्यांचा समावेश  Who's Who in Science & Engineering, Who's Who in Asia  आणि Who's Who in the World या आंतरराष्ट्रीय निर्देशिकांमध्ये करण्यात  आला आहे. अमेरिकन बायोग्राफिकल इन्स्टिट्यूटकडून २०११ साली सायंटिफिक  अवॉर्ड ऑफ एक्सलन्सही त्यांना प्रदान करण्यात आला. याशिवाय विविध साहित्यिक  व सामाजिक संस्थांकडून त्यांचा सत्कार व सन्मान करण्यात आला आहे.

Dr. Madhukar Sabane was born on 7th July 1942. He completed  his M.Sc. and Ph.D.  in Chemistry from Pune University and earned a  Diploma in German in May 1970.  From 1965 to July 2002,  he conducted research at  the National Chemical Laboratory  in Pune on natural rubber, synthetic rubber, membranes,  and various plastic and  polymer materials, with many of  his research papers being  published in international  journals. To make information about plastics and polymers  accessible to the general public and students, he has written  in Marathi and Hindi and has also delivered talks  on science, everyday science, and the human-nature relationship on Pune Akashvani (radio).

His published books include Kimaya Plasticchi, Shilpkar  Plasticche, Plastic Ka  Rochak Sansar, Nate Plasticshi,  Pandharave Ratna: Plastic, and  Plastic Yugache  Mankari. He has also published several story collections,  including Dancha Kawla,  Deshmukhacha Wada, Devagharche Gnyat Kunala, Manachiye Gungfi,  Darbhacha  Kawla 2, Rellar, and Ashi Mansa Ashi Bheti, many of

 which appeared in  various  Diwali editions. His collections Manachiye Gungfi and Darbhacha  Kawla were selected by the Library Selection Committee.

For his contributions in both research and literature, he has received  numerous awards, including the NRDC Award, New Delhi (1979),  CSIR Second Prize (1996), Indian  Society of Plastic’s

 Social Awareness Award (1994),  Pune Municipal Corporation’s  Golden Jubilee Honor (1997), and the “Artist of the Year 2000” award. 

In recognition of his achievements, he has been included in international 

directories such as Who’s Who in Science & Engineering, 

Who’s Who in Asia, and 

Who’s Who in the World. He  was also awarded the Scientific Award of Excellence in 2011  by the American  Biographical Institute. In addition, he has been honored and

 felicitated by various  literary and social organizations.
