प्राचार्य डॉ. दिनकर पाटील

सांगली जिल्ह्यातील तासगाव तालुक्यातील 'लिंब गाव' या छोट्याशा खेड्यातून सुरू झालेला प्रवास. प्राचार्य पाटील यांचे सर्व शिक्षण 'कमवा आणि शिका' या योजनेतून बोर्डिंगमध्ये राहून झाले. कुंडलमधील क्रांतिसिंह नाना पाटील बोर्डिंगमधील दिवसात त्यांनी मोठी स्वप्ने पाहिली आणि ती सत्यात उतरवण्यासाठी आयुष्यभर धडपड केली. शिक्षणमहर्षी आचार्य तांबट काका, कर्मवीरांची रयत शिक्षण संस्था, माजी मुख्यमंत्री वसंतदादा पाटील आणि राजर्षी शाहू महाराज यांच्या संस्थेतून शिक्षण पूर्ण केले. त्यांना शैक्षणिक, सामाजिक क्षेत्रात आणि लेखनात अनेक मानसन्मान मिळाले. महाराष्ट्रभर शैक्षणिक व सामाजिक विषयावर त्यांनी एक हजार व्याख्याने दिली. महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या राज्यशास्त्र विषयाच्या अभ्यास मंडळात सदस्य म्हणूनही त्यांनी कार्य केले.

प्राचार्य डॉ. पाटील यांनी आतापर्यंत ३५ ग्रंथाचे लेखन व संपादन केले आहे. त्यांच्या १० ग्रंथांना राज्य पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत. राज्य, राष्ट्रीय व आंतरराष्ट्रीय परिषदेमध्ये २० शोधनिबंध त्यांनी सादर केले आहेत. १० विद्यार्थ्यांनाच. एमफील व पीएचडीचे मार्गदर्शन केले. 'शेतमजूर ते प्राचार्य' असा प्रवास करणारे व ज्यांचे पाय जमिनीवर आहेत असे व्यक्तिमत्त्व म्हणून प्राचार्य डॉ. पाटील यांचे नाव आवर्जून घेतले जाते.

प्राचार्य डॉ. पाटील यांची सांगली व कोल्हापूर आकाशवाणीवर मुलाखती व व्याख्याने प्रसारित झाली आहेत. शिवाजी विद्यापीठ, कोल्हापूरच्या विविध समितीवर ते कार्यरत होते. भारती विद्यापीठ, पुणे व शिवाजी विद्यापीठ, कोल्हापूर त्याच बरोबर यशवंतराव चव्हाण महाराष्ट्र मुक्त विद्यापीठ, नाशिकचे एमफील व पीएचडीचे ते मार्गदर्शक होते.

प्राचार्य डॉ. दिनकर पाटील म्हणजे एक चरित्र लेखक, राजशास्त्राचे आणि इतिहासाचे अभ्यासक, सातारा प्रतिसरकारचे अभ्यासक आहेत. प्राचार्य डॉ. पाटील यांची पुढीलप्रमाणे पुस्तके प्रकाशित झाली आहेत. -

Author Profile: Principal Dr. Dinkar Patil

Dr. Dinkar Patil hails from the small village of Limb Gaav in Tasgaon Taluka, Sangli district. His journey began in this humble setting. He completed all his education through the "Earn and Learn" scheme while staying in boarding schools. During his time at the Kundal-based Krantisingh Nana Patil Boarding School, he nurtured big dreams and spent his life striving to turn them into reality.

Dr. Patil completed his education under the guidance of eminent institutions and figures, including Maharshi Acharya Tambat Kaka, Karmaviranchi Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, former Chief Minister Vasantdada Patil, and Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj. He has been honored with numerous awards for his contributions to academics, social work, and literature. Across Maharashtra, he has delivered over 1,000 lectures on educational and social topics. He also served as a member of the Maharashtra State Political Science Study Board.

Dr. Patil has authored and edited 35 books, with 10 of them receiving state awards. He has presented 20 research papers at state, national, and international conferences and has supervised 10 students for M.Phil and Ph.D. studies. His journey from a farm laborer to a respected principal—while remaining grounded—is widely acknowledged.

His interviews and lectures have been broadcast on Sangli and Kolhapur radio stations. He has served on various committees at Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and guided M.Phil and Ph.D. students at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik.
