She focuses particularly on strengthening water resources in drought-prone areas and ensuring that government schemes reach those in need.

She authored the book “Government Schemes for Personal Benefits” in November  2013.

She has a keen interest in social work and conducting awareness initiatives.

She received the Excellent Journalism Award from Baramati Agricultural  Development Trust in 2007.

She was honored with the “Rajmata Jijau Self-Reliance Award” by the State Government in 2015 for excellence in journalism.
