Author Profile – Shraddha Sudhakar Rohokale

Shraddha Sudhakar Rohokale has consistently excelled academically, securing first rank from her early student days through to her D.Ed., earning recognition as an exemplary student with multiple honors and awards. She holds a B.A. in English, an M.A. in Marathi, and a B.Ed. degree.

She is currently serving as the Headmistress at a school under the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and has dedicated 34 years (since July 1990) to imparting knowledge in the municipal school system. Renowned for her effective oratory and student-friendly, dedicated approach to teaching, she has received widespread acclaim and recognition.

Her honors and awards include:


  • Guru Dronacharya Award, 2016–2017

  • BMC Mayor’s Ideal Teacher Award, 2021–2022

In addition, she has published essays, columns, and various writings on educational developments in newspapers. She also serves as an examiner and mentor for essay-writing and oratory competitions. Her poetry has been published in various journals and newspapers.

Shraddha Rohokale actively encourages students in her native village, honoring high-achieving SSC students and providing motivation. She supports economically disadvantaged students by supplying educational materials and assisting with school fees when necessary.
