लेखक परिचय

वाचनवेडामुळे पत्रकारितेत दैनिक 'गावकरी, 'तरुण भारत'मध्ये उमेदवारी, खऱ्या अर्थानं पहिली नोकरी ई टीव्ही, मराठीची, हैदराबादमध्ये डेस्कवर २००५ पासून सलग पाच वर्ष काढली. औरंगाबादच्या प्रेमापोटी २०१० मध्ये दैनिक 'सकाळ मध्ये रुजू इथे 'सप्तरंग', 'करिअर मंत्र' पुरवणीत विपुल लेखन कॅलिडोस्कोप या विशेष पानातून वर्षभर ललित लेखन.

नव्या संधीमुळे २०१४मध्ये 'महाराष्ट्र टाइम्स' जॉइन केलं इथंही भरपूर लिहिलं, तीन वर्षात चार सदरं चालवली. त्यात 'जुळ्यांची गोष्ट', 'सहयोग', 'अग्निपथ', 'इलेक्शन विलेक्शन' ही सदरं बहरली.

'जुल्यांची गोष्ट'मध्ये जुल्यांच्या भत्राट गोष्टी, 'सहयोग'मध्ये सामाजिक संस्थांचे संघर्ष, 'अग्निपथ'मध्ये कलावंतांचा खडतर प्रवास मांडला 'इलेक्शन विलेक्शन' सदरातून लोकसभा, विधानसभा निवडणूक काळात 'मन्त्रूभाई औरंगाबादी' या टोपण नावानं नेत्यांच्या टोप्या उडवणारं उपहासात्मक लिखाण केलं.

कोरोना साथीनंतर २०२१ मध्ये TV9 मराठीतून डिजिटल मीडियात प्रवेश

सध्या भास्कर समूहाच्या 'दिव्य मराठी' डिजिटलचे संपादक म्हणून काम पाहतात. या लिहित्या हाताला वाचकांचं भरघोस प्रेम मिळालं. पाठीवर कौतुकाची थाप पडली.

२०१८मध्ये देवर्षी नारद युवा पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आलं. २०२० मध्ये विजय सूर्यवंशी स्मृती पुरस्कारानं गौरवण्यात आलं. तर ६ जानेवारी २०२३ रोजी पत्रकार दिनी मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आलं

मनोज कुलकर्णी यांचा अडीच अक्षरांचा प्रवास हा कथासंग्रह प्रसिद्ध आहे. चिगूर ही त्यांची पहिलीच कादंबरी.

Driven by a passion for reading and writing, Manoj Kulkarni began his journalism career with the dailies Gavkari and Tarun Bharat. His first true professional job was with E-TV Marathi in Hyderabad, where he worked continuously at the desk for five years starting in 2005.

In 2010, motivated by his love for Aurangabad, he joined the daily Sakal. There, he contributed extensively to the supplements Saptarang and Career Mantra, and wrote literary pieces throughout the year for the special column Kaleidoscope.

In 2014, seeking new opportunities, he joined Maharashtra Times, where he wrote prolifically and ran four different columns over three years. These included:

After the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2021, he entered digital media via TV9 Marathi. Currently, he serves as the editor of Divya Marathi Digital. His writing has earned him deep appreciation from readers and critical acclaim.

Manoj Kulkarni is well-known for his acclaimed short story collection Adich Aksharacha Pravas. Chigur is his first novel.
