प्रा. सुरेखा कृष्णा शिखरे या एमए, एमएड, असून त्यांनी एमएस (मानसशास्त्र) पूर्ण केले आहे. हडपसर येथील अण्णासाहेब मगर महाविद्यालयात अर्थशास्त्र विषयात पंचवीस वर्षे त्यांनी अध्यापनाचे काम केले. विवाहपूर्व व वैवाहिक आणि कौटुंबिक समुपदेशक म्हणूनही त्या काम करत आहेत. पुष्पौषधी, प्राणिक हीलिंग, रेकी, हिप्नॉटिझम यांसारख्या अनेक विषयातील कोर्सेस त्यांनी पूर्ण केले आहेत. वृत्तपत्रे, मासिक यांमध्ये प्रा. शिखरे यांचे प्रासंगिक लिखाण प्रसिद्ध झाले असून काही लेखनस्पर्धांमध्ये त्यांना पुरस्कार प्राप्त झाले आहेत. अवयवदानसारख्या सामाजिक उपक्रमात त्या सक्रिय सहभाग घेत असतात. गरजू विद्यार्थ्यांना केलेल्या शैक्षणिक मदतीबद्दल त्यांना ‘सावित्रीबाई फुले’ पुरस्कार प्राप्त झाला आहे.

Prof. Surekha Krishna Shikhare holds degrees of M.A., M.Ed., and has also completed an M.S. in Psychology. She worked as a lecturer in Economics for 25 years at Annasaheb Magar College. In addition to her academic career, she is also working as a pre-marital, marital, and family counselor.

She has completed courses in various fields such as flower remedies, pranic healing, Reiki, and hypnotism. Her articles have been published in newspapers and magazines, and she has received awards in several writing competitions.

She actively participates in social initiatives like organ donation and has been honored with the Savitribai Phule Award for her contribution to supporting the education of underprivileged students.
