To move beyond wars caused by religious differences, he has proposed an advanced ethical philosophy for our interdependent world. This philosophy gives complete respect to every religion. From his elevated spiritual and intellectual standpoint, the Dalai Lama earnestly appeals to everyone to follow what he calls the “Third Way.” Through this Third Way, he presents a path toward a moral and happy life. He also envisions a global human community founded on harmony and mutual respect.

Through the book “Beyond Religion”, the Dalai Lama expresses his profound reflections. Even those who do not wish to be labeled by any particular religious tradition, yet aspire to build a better world and seek a spiritually fulfilling life, will certainly find clear and guiding principles in this book.
