Eak Pokali Astech (Firasti 1) : Uttam Kamble
Often, we live under certain illusions about ourselves. We assume things about who we are, and these assumptions, these illusions, keep growing like an inflated balloon. But sometimes, something sudden happens—someone pricks that balloon—and it bursts in an instant. What follows is a deep void of despair that engulfs the mind.
In such moments, some individuals, with determination, pull themselves out of that abyss of hopelessness. They continue to struggle—with themselves, with others, or with the social system—constantly searching for meaning hidden within that emptiness.
Man versus man, man versus system, man versus environment… these are battles fought for survival, from basic bread to self-respect. Each person must carve out their own path, often having to dig it out with sheer effort and persistence. In the struggle to live, some sell their own flesh and blood, some sell human values, some sell their conscience—and some, perhaps, even more.
This is a portrayal shaped by a sensitive mind—at times unsettling, and at times reassuring.
