The plot of the novel “Ek Hoti Yashoda” written by Sunil Pandey is very simple. It contains neither mystery nor suspense. This novel is based on the famous Marathi novel “Kuna Ekachi Bhramangatha” by the renowned writer G. N. Dandekar. That novel had gained great popularity.
In this work, Sunil has imaginatively carried forward the characters of Yashoda and Appa from the original novel. This is a unique experiment in the Marathi language.
A simple and small storyline casts a spell on the reader, and the distinctive style of language from the banks of the Narmada River and that region is also very appealing to the reader.
