वैद्य रमा खटावकर या एमडी आयुर्वेद असून, त्या आयुर्वेदिक स्त्रीरोग प्रसूती तज्ञ आहेत. गेल्या पंचवीसपेक्षा अधिक वर्षांपासून आयुर्वेदाचे अध्ययन, अध्यापन आणि रुग्णचिकित्सेचा अनुभव त्यांना आहे. सध्या त्या उत्तर प्रदेश येथील वैद्य यज्ञदत्त शर्मा आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालायत प्रोफेसर आणि विभागप्रमुख (स्त्रीरोग प्रसूतीतंत्र) म्हणून कार्यरत आहेत. सातत्याने त्या आयुर्वेद या विषयावर विविध मासिकांत, दिवाळी अंकात लेखन करत असतात

Vaidya Rama Khatavkar holds an M.D. in Ayurveda and is an Ayurvedic gynecology and obstetrics specialist. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the study, teaching, and clinical practice of Ayurveda.

Currently, she is working as a Professor and Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Vaidya Yagya Datt Sharma Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. She regularly writes articles on Ayurveda for various magazines and Diwali special publications.
