Gibberish Katha

सकाळ प्रकाशनाने सप्टेंबर २०२२ मध्ये घेतलेल्या लेखनस्पर्धेत 'कथा' या साहित्यप्रकारासाठी पुरस्कृत केले गेलेले सुजय जाधव लिखित पुस्तक म्हणजे जिब्रिश कथा.

जिब्रिश (Gibberish) म्हणजे बाष्कळ, ज्याचा अर्थ लागणार नाही, असे काहीसे. ओळखीच्या जगाचा संदर्भ सोडून नवनवे अपरिचित प्रदेश धुंडाळणाऱ्या या कथांच्या प्रवृत्तीसाठी हे सूचक नाव आहे.

कथांचे लॉजिक हे वास्तवाशी फारकत घेणारे, मुक्त रचनेला कवटाळणारे आणि संकल्पनेच्या पातळीवर कथेच्या मांडणीशी खेळणारे आहे. सायन्स फिक्शन, फॅन्टसी, मॅजिक रिअलिझम, भाषिक चमत्कृतीशी खेळणाऱ्या कथा, विडंबन अशा अनेक प्रकारांमध्ये जिब्रिश कथा लीलया वावरतात.

या लहानशा कथासंग्रहातही सुजयची लेखक म्हणून असलेली रेंज स्पष्टपणे जाणवते. वाचकांनाही हा कथासंग्रह त्यांच्या परिचित प्रदेशापलीकडील नव्या जगांची सफर घडवेल.
