Khardal

खर्दळ ही एका तरुणाची संघर्षमय कथा आहे. यात नायकाचा बालपण ते म्हातारपण असा पूर्ण जीवनप्रवास मांडला आहे, जो सर्वार्थाने प्रेरणादायी आहे. अशिक्षित पिढीपासून ते सुशिक्षित पिढीपर्यंतचा प्रवास मांडणारी ही कादंबरी नातेसंबंधांना केंद्रस्थानी ठेवते.  कुटुंबातील प्रत्येकाचे जीवन एकमेकांवर, एकमेकांच्या निर्णयावर अवलंबून असते, त्यातील एका जरी व्यक्तीने चुकीचे पाऊल उचलले, तर उर्वरित सर्वांना त्याचे कमी-अधिक फरकाने परिणाम भोगावे लागतात, हेच ही कथा अधोरेखित करते. गरीब ग्रामीण-शहरी भागातून आलेल्या, तसेच  कौटुंबिक, आर्थिक, सामाजिक समस्येने पिचलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना, तरुणांना हे कथानक नशिबापेक्षा स्वकर्तृत्वावर विश्वास ठेवायला भाग पाडते. कौटुंबिक, सामाजिक, आर्थिक आणि भावनिक संघर्षेतून जाणारा इंदू वाचकाला जगण्याचा पाठ घडवतो. 

Khardaḷ is the story of a young man’s struggle and journey through life. The novel portrays the protagonist’s complete life journey, from childhood to old age, making it truly inspiring. It depicts the transition from an uneducated generation to an educated one, while placing relationships at the heart of the narrative.

The story highlights how the lives of family members are interconnected and dependent on one another’s decisions. If even one person in the family takes a wrong step, the consequences, whether major or minor, are ultimately faced by everyone.
