रावेर, जळगाव येथे वास्तव्यास असणारे ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार आणि लेखक दिलीप रत्नाकर वैद्य यांनी लिहिलेले माझी भटकंती या छोटेखानी पुस्तकात त्यांनी केलेल्या भारतातील आणि भारताबाहेरील भटकंतीचा लेखाजोखा मांडला आहे. या पुस्तकाच्या विस्तृत शीर्षकात उल्लेख केल्याप्रमाणे या पुस्तकात वैद्य यांनी केलेल्या इस्राईल प्रवासाबद्दल, अंदमान निकोबार बेटांबद्दल तसेच मध्य प्रदेशातील मांडू या शहराला दिलेल्या भेटीचा विस्तृत लेखाजोखा तर आहेच पण त्याच बरोबर गोव्याबद्दल आणि कुंभमेळ्याबद्दलही या पुस्तकात लिखाण आले आहे. गोव्याच्या प्रवासाबद्दलचे प्रचलित चित्र आणि त्या प्रदेशाची प्रतिमा टाळून त्यापलीकडे जाऊन लिहिण्याचा प्प्रामानिक प्रयत्न श्री. वैद्य यांनी आपल्या लेखनातून केला आहे. किशोर कुमार यांच्या समाधीबद्दलही त्यांनी या पुस्तकात लहिले आहे आणि पुस्तकांचे गाव म्हणून प्रसिद्धीस पावलेल्या भिलारबद्दलही यात लेख आहे. या पुस्तकात रावेर तालुक्यातील पाल या ठिकाणापासून जवळ असलेल्या पण मध्यप्रदेशात एका अनोख्या मंदिराबद्दलही माहिती आहे. हे मंदीर आहे इंदिरा गांधी यांचे. या पुस्तकात नावाप्रमाणे भटकंतीचे उल्लेख असल्याने वेगवेगळ्या वाटांनी लेखकाने पाहिलेल्या स्थळांची माहिती, त्यांचे वर्णन आपल्याला गवसते. 

In the short travel book “Mazi Bhatkanti” (“My Travels”), senior journalist and writer Dilip Ratnakar Vaidya, who resides in Raver in Jalgaon district, presents an account of his journeys across India and abroad.

As mentioned in the book’s detailed title, the author has written extensively about his travels to Israel, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the historic city of Mandu in Madhya Pradesh. Along with these, the book also includes writings on Goa and the Kumbh Mela.

While writing about Goa, Mr. Vaidya makes a sincere effort to move beyond the stereotypical image commonly associated with the region and presents a deeper perspective through his observations. The book also contains writings about the memorial of Kishore Kumar, as well as an article on Bhilar, famously known as the “Village of Books.”

Additionally, the book introduces readers to a unique temple dedicated to Indira Gandhi, located near Pal in Raver taluka, though situated in Madhya Pradesh. True to its title, the book captures descriptions, observations, and information about the many places the author explored through his travels.
