मनोज पाटील यांनी राज्यशास्त्र विषयात बी.ए. केले असून पत्रकारितेची पदविका संपादन केली आहे. त्यांची विविध विषयांवरील ३५ पुस्तके प्रसिद्ध झाली आहेत. '७/१२ शेतीचे कायदे, शेतजमिनीचे कायदे,' 'पंचायतराज' (पुणे विद्यापीठाच्या अभ्यासक्रमात समावेश), 'महाराष्ट्रातील राजकीय घराणी,' 'लढवय्या, यशवंत, नेते घडविणारा महानेता,' 'मराठी मनाचा राजा,' 'लोकनायक गोपीनाथ मुंडे, जननायक,' 'माहितीचा अधिकार, ग्रामपंचायत मार्गदर्शिका,' ही त्यातील काही पुस्तके असून शालेय व पत्रकारिता अभ्यासक्रमात यातील पुस्तकांचा समावेश झाला आहे. पत्रकार, लेखक, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते म्हणून काम करताना त्यांनी विविध आंदोलनात भाग घेतला आहे. तसेच अनेक सामाजिक समस्या सोडविल्या आहेत.

Several of his books have been included in school and journalism curricula. While working as a journalist, writer, and social activist, he has actively participated in various movements and has also helped resolve many social issues.
