बोधिसत्व खंडेरावने छह साल की उम्र में सामाजिक वनीकरण कार्य की पहल की।
विभिन्न प्राथमिक और माध्यमिक स्कूलों, कॉलेजों, स्वयं सहायता समूहों, ग्राम पंचायतों, ग्रीष्मकालीन शिविरों, एनसीसी और एनएसएस शिविरों, सामाजिक और धार्मिक कार्यक्रमों आदि में जाकर पांच सौ से अधिक सामाजिक वानिकी कार्यशालाओं का आयोजन किया।
बोधिसत्वने सामूहिक वनरोपण की रैंप्ड सीडबॉल मेथड, ग्रीन पाऊच मेथड, पर्ण-बीज मेथड, मँजिक साँक्स मेथड यह चार नई विधियाँ विकसित की । इन पद्धतीयों द्वारा, हजारों विद्यार्थियों के साथ वनीकरण का प्रयास किया।
उनका नाम 'सबसे कम उम्र के पर्यावरण कार्यकर्ता' 'द यंगेस्ट एन्व्हायरमेंटल अँक्टिव्हिस्ट' के रूप में इंडिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स में दर्ज हुआ है |
भारतीय पौराणिक ग्रंथों में पर्यावरण और उसकी रक्षा के विषय में उत्तम और महत्त्वपूर्ण जानकारी है । वृक्षों के औषधीय गुण और उनका महत्त्व भी ग्रंथों में है । इस प्रकार के श्लोक बोधिसत्वने खोजे । इन्ही श्लोकों का परिचय आपको इस पुस्तक में पढने को मिलेगा ।

Bodhisattva Khanderao initiated social afforestation work at the age of six. He has conducted over 500 social forestry workshops in various primary and secondary schools,  colleges, self-help groups, Gram Panchayats, summer camps, NCC and NSS camps, as well as social and religious programs.

Bodhisattva developed four new afforestation methods: the Ramped Seedball Method, Green Pouch Method, Leaf-Seed        Method, and Magic Sanks Method. Using these techniques, he carried out afforestation efforts with thousands of students.

His name has been recorded in the India Book of Records as the “Youngest Environmental Activist.”

Indian mythological texts contain valuable and significant information about the  environment and its protection, including the medicinal properties of trees and their importance. Bodhisattva has discovered such verses, and an introduction to these verses is provided in  this book.
