Dr. Shrikrishna Namdev Jhagade is an agricultural scientist specializing  in plant pathology, born on 10 March 1984 and based in Khandala,  District Satara. He holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Agriculture(Plant Pathology) and qualified the Indian Council of Agricultural Research–NET examination in 2014. He has worked as a Senior Research Fellow at  Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani, and as an  Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology at Naigaon Agriculture College  (Nanded) and Dadasaheb Mokashi Agriculture College, Rajmachi (Karad).  Currently, he serves as an Agriculture Assistant at the same university in  Parbhani. His doctoral research focused on damping-off and seed rot diseases in chilli crops and their management. He is a  lifetime member of professional bodies such as the Protection Association of  India and the Association of Plant Pathologists. He has actively participated in  national agricultural seminars and radio discussions like Kisanvani.  Dr. Jhagade has published 12 research papers in national and international journals,  around 7 research reports, and several articles on topics including disease  management in wheat and pomegranate, pest identification in chilli,  rodent control, and pest management in sunflower, making significant  contributions to agricultural research and extension.
