लेखक परिचय

श्रीकृष्ण इनामदार यांचे महाविद्यालयीन शिक्षण बृहन् महाराष्ट्र कॉलेज (बीएमसीसी) मध्ये झाले. पुणे विद्यापीठाच्या बीकॉम परीक्षेत ते प्रथम क्रमांकाने उत्तीर्ण (१९६५) झाले आणि त्यांना राष्ट्रीय शिष्यवृत्तीही मिळाली. स्पर्धा परीक्षांच्या तयारीचा विचार सुरू असताना मुंबईचे त्यावेळचे ज्येष्ठ आयकर सल्लागार व वकील तसेच किलर्लोस्कर उद्योगसमूहाचे आयकर सल्लागार वाय. पी. पंडित यांच्याकडून त्यांना 'ज्युनिअरशिप'साठी विचारणा झाली. त्यांनीच इनामदार यांना कायद्याची पदवी संपादन करण्याचा सल्ला दिला. मुंबई विद्यापीठाच्या कायद्याच्या परीक्षेतही ते पहिले आले व त्यांनी सुवर्णपदक पटकावले.

पुण्यात आल्यानंतर त्यांनी 'किलर्लोस्कर,' 'फिरोदिया,' 'छाब्रिया,' 'राठी' या उद्योगसमूहाचे तसेच 'उगार शुगर,' 'कुलकर्णी पॉवर टूल्स,' 'कनोरिया केमिकल्स' या उद्योगसमूहांचे आयकर सल्लागार म्हणून काम पाहिले. त्यांपैकी 'किर्लोस्कर ब्रदर्स,' 'फोर्स मोटर्स,' 'सुदर्शन केमिकल्स,' 'फिनोलेक्स इंडस्ट्रीज,' 'उगार शुगर,' 'कुलकर्णी पॉवर टूल्स' या कंपन्यांचे संचालक म्हणूनही जबाबदारी सांभाळली. व्यवसाय म्हणून आयकर कोर्टात (ट्रायब्युनल, उच्च न्यायालय) केसेस चालवणे व सल्ला देणे, हे काम त्यांनी केले आहे. 'सकाळ' समूहाशी संचालक व हितचिंतक म्हणून २० वषपिक्षा अधिक काळ ते संबंधित आहेत. 'चेंवर ऑफ टॅक्स कन्सल्टंट्स' या संस्थेचे ते एक वर्ष अध्यक्ष होते. त्यांनी अनेक मासिकांमधून आयकराशी संबंधित विषयावर लिखाण केले आहे.

Author Introduction – Adv. Shrikrishna Inamdar

Adv. Shrikrishna Inamdar completed his college education at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC). He graduated first in B.Com from Pune University in 1965 and was awarded a national scholarship for his academic excellence.

While considering preparation for competitive exams, he was approached by Y. P. Pandit, then a senior income tax consultant and lawyer in Mumbai as well as the income tax advisor for the Kirloskar Group, for a junior position. Pandit advised him to pursue a law degree, which he did, and he again secured first rank and a gold medal in law from Mumbai University.

After moving to Pune, he worked as an income tax consultant for industrial groups such as Kirloskar, Firodia, Chhabria, Rathi, Ugar Sugar, Kulkarni Power Tools, and Kanoria Chemicals. He also served as a director for companies including Kirloskar Brothers, Force Motors, Sudarshan Chemicals, Finolex Industries, Ugar Sugar, and Kulkarni Power Tools.

In his professional career, he has handled income tax cases in courts (tribunals and high courts) and provided consultancy and advisory services.

He has been associated with the Sakal Group as a director and well-wisher for over 20 years. He also served as President of the Chamber of Tax Consultants for one year. Additionally, he has authored numerous articles on income tax topics in various monthly publications.
