This novel narrates the inspiring true story of a school-aged boy from an economically, socially, culturally, and educationally disadvantaged and extremely impoverished family, highlighting his struggles for education and the intense hardships he endured to achieve his goals.
Rooted in the legacy of the democratic thinker Annabhau Sathe, known for “Jag Badal Ghaluni Ghav Sangun Gele Maj Bhimrao”, this autobiographical novel depicts the challenges the boy had to face both within his family and from society in order to pursue education.
Through this story, readers learn how to overcome life’s obstacles and move “from darkness to light”. The narrative vividly portrays the poverty worshipped in his early years, the overwhelming negativity of his surroundings, and social ridicule, alongside the resilient urge to live positively and the intense, goal-driven determination born from turbulent struggles.
