Dr. S. D. Ramteke
Contact: 020-26956075 / 9422313166He holds an M.Sc. in Botany and a Ph.D. in Crop Physiology. He has been associated with the National Research Centre for Grapes since its establishment. Along with research on grapes, he has actively contributed to extension education and has guided undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. students.

He has participated in national and international agricultural conferences and seminars, presenting 31 research papers. He has published around 80 research papers and over 200 articles in various scientific journals and periodicals. He has made significant efforts to disseminate updated technical knowledge on grape cultivation to farmers through training programs and has received several awards for his contributions to grape research.
