Katyatale Morpis (Poems)

कवी आणि गझलकार अरुण कटारे यांनी ‘काट्यातले मोरपीस’ या त्यांच्या काव्यसंग्रहात चार-चार ओळींच्या एकूण पाचशेएक (५०१) कविता अष्टाक्षरी स्वरूपात लिहिलेल्या आहेत. हा त्यांचा चौथा कवितासंग्रह आहे. वाचकांना समजेल अशा सोप्या आणि साध्या भाषेत त्यांनी या अष्टाक्षरी रचल्या आहेत. दोन अष्टाक्षरी जोडण्याचा प्रयत्न कवीने केलेला आहे. ज्याप्रमाणे गझलमध्ये ‘शेर’ असतात त्याप्रमाणे कवीने एकेक विषय स्वतंत्रपणे मांडायचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. प्रत्येक अष्टाक्षरी ही स्वतंत्र आणि परिपूर्ण आहे. कविता वाचणाऱ्या सर्व रसिक वाचकांना आणि कविता करणाऱ्या अनेक नवकवींसाठी हा काव्यसंग्रह संग्रहित ठेवण्यासारखा आहे. 

Poet and ghazal writer Arun Katare has written a total of 501 poems, each consisting of four lines, in an octosyllabic form in his poetry collection Katyatle Morpis. This is his fourth poetry collection. He has composed these octosyllabic verses in a simple and                easy-to-understand language for readers. The poet has also attempted to link two such verses together. Just as a ghazal consists of independent couplets (sher), he has tried to present each theme separately. Every octosyllabic poem is complete and independent in itself. This collection is worth preserving for all poetry lovers and for many emerging poets who write poetry.
