आदिवासींच्या हक्कांचे आणि हिताचे रक्षण करणे ही राज्यसंस्थेची जबाबदारी असल्याचे संविधानात नमूद केले आहे. त्यानुसार केलेल्या कायद्यांची, तरतुदींची माहिती लेखक ग. शां. पंडित यांनी 'माहिती योजनांची दिशा आदिवासी विकासाची' या पुस्तकात दिली आहे. आदिवासी उपयोजनेअंतर्गत असलेल्या विविध खात्यांच्या योजना, शिक्षण, आरोग्य आणि उपजिविकेसाठी असलेल्या योजना यांची माहिती सोप्या आणि ओघवत्या भाषेमध्ये देण्यात आली आहे. आदिवासींची आर्थिक आणि सामाजिक स्थिती सुधारण्यासाठी, विविध शेतीपूरक व्यवसाय, स्वयंरोजगाराच्या संधी, शासकीय नोकऱ्यांमध्ये प्रशिक्षणाला प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी या योजना जनतेपर्यंत पोहोचाव्यात, हा यामागील प्रमुख हेतू आहे.
It is stated in the Constitution that protecting the rights and interests of tribal communities is the responsibility of the State. In accordance with this, the author G. Sh. Pandit has provided information about the relevant laws and provisions in his book “Direction of Information Schemes for Tribal Development.”
The book presents details of various government schemes under the Tribal Sub-Plan, including those related to education, healthcare, and livelihood, in a simple and fluent language.
The main objective behind this is to ensure that these schemes reach the people, so as to improve the economic and social conditions of tribal communities. It also aims to promote various agriculture-based occupations, self-employment opportunities, and training that encourages participation in government jobs.
