शेगावचे संत गजानन महाराज म्हणजे भक्तांच्या कल्याणासाठी अवतरलेले अवलिया. ते शेगावमधील एका सद्गृहस्थाला उकिरड्यावर टाकलेले अन्न आणि गढूळ पाणी पिताना दिसले. चांगले अन्न व पाणी त्यांच्यासमोर ठेवूनही निर्मोही वृत्तीने त्यांनी सारे अन्न एकत्र करून खाल्ले आणि गढूळ आणि स्वच्छ पाणी असा भेद आमच्या ठायी नाही. सारे काही एकच असा अद्वैताचा बोध त्यांनी केला. त्यांनी लोककल्याणासाठी केलेले असंख्य चमत्कार आणि त्यांनी दिलेली शिकवण तसेच त्यांच्या भक्तांना आलेल्या प्रत्यक्षानुभवांचा समावेश या जीवनचरित्रामध्ये केला आहे. देहत्याग केल्यानंतरही गजानन महाराज भक्तांना मार्गदर्शन करतात, अशी भाविकांची श्रद्धा आहे. गजानन महाराज संस्थानाचे कार्यही या चरित्रग्रंथात विशेषत्वाने नमूद करण्यात आले आहे.

 

Sant Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon is a saint who incarnated for the welfare of devotees. He was once seen drinking food placed on a heap and muddy water by a respectable household in Shegaon. Even when clean food and water were offered to him, he selflessly gathered everything together and consumed it, teaching that there is no distinction between muddy and pure water or food. He conveyed the realization of oneness and non-duality through this act.

This biography includes the countless miracles performed by him for the welfare of people, the teachings he imparted, and the firsthand experiences of his devotees. Even after leaving his physical body, devotees believe that Gajanan Maharaj continues to guide them. The work and activities of the Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan are also specially highlighted in this biography.

A poet with a spiritual essence. She has published two poetry collections.

In addition to poetry, she has written stories and novels, including works like  Mushafiri and Beej Ankure Ankure, a book based on experiments related to  value education. She has also published biographical novels based on the  lives of Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Mata Amritanandamayi.

Her research at the Pune-based institution Gyanprabodhini has resulted in biographical writings on Swami Dayanand Saraswati and Sister Nivedita.

She has also published the essay collection Sanskruticha Prasadkhuna, which  focuses on Indian culture and its timeless values, and it has received an excellent  response from readers.

Other notable works include the Marathi translations of the English book Manache  Shlok: Muktabhashya and the Hindi translation of the Marathi book Vatsalysindhu  Sai.
