बापू भानुदास कुंभारपत्ता : उपलाई बु.॥, ता. माढा, जि. सोलापूर ४१३२०९दूरभाष: ७७०९५८१४०७नोव्हेंबर, १९४९मध्ये सामान्य कुटुंबात जन्म. सोलापूरमधील ग्रामीण भागात प्राथमिक व माध्यमिक शिक्षण आणि सोलापूरमधून कॉमर्स विषयात पदवोकुडुवाडी येथील डी.सी.सी. बँकेत काही काळ आणि नंतर रेल्वेमध्ये तिकीट तपासनीसाची नोकरी. दौड, कुर्दुवाडी, सोलापूर येथे रिझर्वेशन आणि स्क्वॉड या दोन्ही क्षेत्रात कार्यरत, ऑगस्ट २००९मध्ये निरीक्षक म्हणून सेवानिवृत्तप्रथमपासून धार्मिक व ऐतिहासिक पुस्तके वाचण्याची आवड, चिकित्सक वृत्ती, चिंतनशीलता व शोधक वृत्तीमुळे लेखन कार्यास सुरुवात.

 Bapu Bhanudas Kumbhar was born in November 1949  into a modest family. He completed his primary and secondary education in rural  areas of Solapur and later graduated in Commerce from Solapur. He worked for a  short period at the D.C.C. Bank in Kurduwadi and subsequently joined the Railways  as a Ticket Examiner. During his service, he worked in both reservation and squad  duties at Daund, Kurduwadi, and Solapur, and retired as an Inspector in August  2009. From an early age, he developed a keen interest in reading religious and  historical books. His analytical mindset, reflective nature, and inquisitive  temperament eventually inspired him to take up writing.
