वंश ,धर्म अशा बाबींवर आधारलेला बहुसंख्यांकवाद  जगाच्या अनेक भागांत बोकाळतो आहे. 
अल्गोरिदम ,आर्टिफिशयल इंटेलिजन्स ,रोबोटिक्स ,नॅनो टेक्नॉलॉजी आणि डेटा सायन्स ही वर्चस्वाच्या लढाईची हत्यारं बनताहेत . यातून निर्माण होणारे नवे ताण ,नवी स्पर्धा ,जगाच्या अस्वस्थतेत भर टाकते  आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर 'क्वाड 'सारखा गट बळकट होतो आहे. त्यातून इंडो-पॅसिफिक सागरी क्षेत्र हे प्रमुख स्पर्धा होण्याची चिन्हं दिसताहेत .

This work examines global developments in a time that evokes immense curiosity on one hand and deep unease on the other.

While implementing policies for progress, it was believed that everyone would inevitably become part of the global economy; that this journey would strengthen liberal democracy; that people would become so integrated into global affairs that they would prefer to call themselves global citizens; and that the boundaries of the nation-state would gradually blur. However, after three decades, global developments have taken a turn that has challenged this idealism and burst the bubble of its underlying assumptions.

This book explores why and how this shift has occurred.

Majoritarianism based on factors such as race and religion is spreading in many parts of the world. Technologies like algorithms, artificial intelligence, robotics, nanotechnology, and data science are becoming tools in the struggle for dominance. The new tensions and competition arising from this are adding to global instability. In this context, groups like the Quad are gaining strength, and the Indo-Pacific region is emerging as a major arena of competition.

The period on which this book is based has many such layers of unrest. The core of this book lies in examining and analyzing these events and developments.
