*Worked as a Junior Scientific Officer at the Western Regional Centre of the Zoological Survey of India, Pune, from 1960 to 1966.

*Established an Arthropod Museum in 1963 and later served as its Executive Trustee (from 1970).

*Participated in organizing the first Bamboo Conference in Maharashtra (1995) and the second Bamboo Conference (2004).

*Organized several “Bamboo Exhibitions” at various locations across Maharashtra.

*Authored books such as Museum Introduction, Versatile Bamboo, and Eco-friendly Toilets.

*Aimed to cultivate interest in zoology among school students and organized many competitions toward this goal.
