• या पुस्तकामागची भूमिका स्पष्ट करताना प्रस्तावनेत ते म्हणतात, “आज बाबा आमच्यात नाहीत. त्यांचं हे उणेपण प्रचंड सतावतं. क्षणोक्षणी त्यांची आठवण येते. त्यांच्यानंतर त्यांनी जोडलेल्या त्यांच्या अनेक मित्रांना मी जाऊन भेटलो. त्यांच्याशी गप्पा मारल्या. प्रत्येकाच्या मनात आजही बाबांबद्दलचं प्रेम ओसंडून वाहत होतं. त्यातील काही अनुभवांना मी शब्दरूप देण्याचा या पुस्तकाच्या माध्यमातून प्रयत्न केला आहे.” आपल्या वडिलांच्या विचारांबद्दल एक कृतज्ञता, त्यांच्याबद्दलचा आदर आणि प्रेम हे सारे या कवितांमधून ओतप्रोत भरले आहे.
· No matter how much we praise the greatness of a mother, the role of a father in shaping our lives is equally important. A father’s habits, his childhood, his upbringing, his values, and his thoughts—all of these become an inseparable part of our personality and perspective.
· In this book written by professor and author Hanumant Bhavari, he attempts to express, through poetry, the emotions that arose in his mind after the passing of his father, as well as the feelings he and others hold about their fathers. The collection consists of 17 poems divided into two sections—first half and second half. To help readers understand the rural and dialect words and expressions used throughout the poems, a glossary is also included in the collection.
· While explaining the purpose behind the book, he writes in the preface:
“Today, my father is no longer with us. His absence troubles me deeply. I remember him every moment. After his passing, I met many of his friends whom he had connected with. I spoke with them, and in each of their hearts, love for my father was still overflowing. Through this book, I have tried to give words to some of those experiences.”
A deep sense of gratitude, respect, and love for his father is richly expressed throughout these poems.
