भास्कर हांडे हे हॉलंडमध्ये युरोपीय चित्रकलेचा अभ्यास करणारे पहिले भारतीय मराठी विद्यार्थी आहेत.

• डच टीव्ही प्रॉडक्शनसाठी स्वतंत्र फ्रीलान्स अनुवादक आणि दुभाषी, मराठी आणि इंग्लिशमध्ये कला कॅटलॉगचे लेखक;
• मराठी, इंग्लिश आणि डच भाषेत प्रकाशित झालेल्या पुस्तकांचे लेखक;

पुरस्कार

• १९७६पासून भारत आणि युरोप खंडात १३० संयुक्तिक प्रदर्शनांमध्ये तसेच द्विवार्षिक व त्रैवार्षिक अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रदर्शनात सहभाग.
• १९७९ व १९८१मध्ये विद्यार्थी विभागात अनुक्रमे चौथा व दुसरा 'महाराष्ट्र राज्य पुरस्कार'
• 'रंगरूप अभंगाचे', पुस्तकाला २०१९चा 'अखिल भारतीय मराठी प्रकाशक संघ', पुणे यांच्याकडून प्रथम पुरस्कार.

Bhaskar Hande is the first Marathi student from India to study European painting in  the Netherlands.

· Creative Consultant, Art Foundation Artimedier, The Hague, Netherlands (1986–2006)

· Independent freelance translator and interpreter for Dutch television productions

· Author of art catalogues in Marathi and English

· Author of books published in Marathi, English, and Dutch

· Participant in various international seminars and conferences

· Participating artist in international triennial exhibitions held in the Netherlands,  France, Serbia, and India

Achievements and Awards

· Since 1976, participated in over 130 group exhibitions across India and Europe,  including several prestigious international biennial and triennial exhibitions.

o Recipient of the Maharashtra State Award in the Student Category:Fourth Prize in  1979

o Second Prize in 1981

· His book “Rangroop Abhangache” received the First Prize from the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Prakashak Sangh (All India Marathi Publishers Association), Pune, in 2019.

Bhaskar Hande's distinguished career spans the fields of visual arts, literature,  translation, and cultural exchange, making him a significant contributor to both  Indian and international artistic and literary communities.
