Neela Satyanarayan 

 An IAS officer who served in government service for 42 years and was the first  woman State Election Commissioner. She is known for her inspiring and thoughtful  writing based on everyday life incidents, published in various newspapers and  magazines. She has authored a total of 23 books, with a few more in progress.

She has made notable contributions in the fields of music and writing, having  written around 150 songs, including lyrics for two Hindi films, and has received several awards in both areas. After retirement, she founded the NGO “Aarohi”  to guide students preparing for competitive exams.
