Devashapath Khar Sangin is the author’s first step into the literary world through writings based on civil court cases. Unlike criminal cases, this field usually does not involve sensational or shocking incidents. Perhaps that is why, even though a large number of people go through the distressing experience of such civil cases, very little is written about or published on them. Nevertheless, this book brings before readers the fact that there is indeed much in these cases that deserves to be told and shared.
Every case in this book is drawn from the author’s own experience. Although there is no element of fiction in these cases, they engage the reader’s curiosity and interest from beginning to end. The simple, accessible language and the realistic style that vividly recreates each situation ensure that the incidents and the thoughts expressed through them leave a lasting impression on the reader even after finishing the book. These episodes and reflections not only suggest how one should live life but also offer an awareness of how one should not live.
