मयुरेश कुलकर्णी हे सोलापूर जिल्ह्यातील बार्शी या शहरात वास्तव्य करत असून ‘जिल्हा परिषद सोलापूर’ येथे प्राथमिक शिक्षक आहेत. त्यांना वाचन आणि लेखनाची आवड असून, ते सोलापूर जिल्हा वृत्तपत्र लेखन मंचाचे स्वीकृत सदस्य आहेत. तसेच ‘महाराष्ट्र राज्य काव्यप्रेमी शिक्षक मंच’ आणि ‘महाराष्ट्र साहित्य परिषद’, सोलापूरचे ते आजीवन सभासद आहेत. दैनिक सकाळ, दैनिक तरुणभारत या वर्तमानपत्रांतून त्यांचे नियमित लेखन प्रसिद्ध होते. ‘शिक्षण विवेक’ या मासिकातही नियमितपणे लेखन. ‘धूमधडाका’ हे त्यांचे पहिले पुस्तक आहे.

Mayuresh Kulkarni resides in Barshi in Solapur district and works as a primary school teacher with the Zilla Parishad Solapur. He has a deep interest in reading and writing and is an approved member of the Solapur District Newspaper Writers’ Forum.

He is also a lifetime member of the Maharashtra Rajya Kavyapremi Shikshak Manch and the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Solapur branch. His writings are regularly published in newspapers such as Sakal and Tarun Bharat. He also contributes regularly to the magazine Shikshan Vivek.

“Dhoomdhadaka” is his first published book.
