The book “Gram Panchayat: Administration and Administrators” plays the role of a helpful guide, offering valuable information for the development of villages through the Gram Panchayat.

While explaining the purpose behind writing this book, G. Sh. Pandit states in the preface:
“If villages improve, the nation will improve—this is the deeper meaning of the teachings of saints and spiritual leaders. Keeping this in mind, the current government has introduced the concept of a ‘Smart Village,’ similar to ‘Smart Cities.’ Through the scheme ‘Our Village, Our Development,’ policies have been adopted to prepare a ‘Gram Panchayat Development Plan’ so that funds can be used effectively and all sections of the village can participate in the development process. This is certainly a welcome step. It will help create a supportive environment for the development of rural and tribal areas.”

The book “Gram Panchayat: Administration and Administrators” explains in a very simple manner what needs to be done by everyone—from government officials to village volunteers and youth workers—to contribute effectively to this development process.
