अॅड. कृष्णा विठोबा पाटील हे सांगली जिल्ह्यातील तासगाव येथील ज्येष्ठ विधिज्ञ, साहित्यिक आणि सामाजिक कार्यकर्ते आहेत. त्यांनी बी.एस्सी. आणि एलएलबीचे शिक्षण पूर्ण केले असून सध्या सांगली जिल्हा व सत्र न्यायालयात वकिली व्यवसाय करत आहेत. सामाजिक प्रश्नांवर परखड भूमिका मांडणारे लेखक म्हणून त्यांची विशेष ओळख आहे. त्यांनी भारत मरत आहे?, वारं आमच्या हक्काचं!, ढाल, तलवार आणि घोडा या पलीकडचे शिवराय ही वैचारिक पुस्तके तसेच मोलाची ठेव आणि वाटणी हे कथासंग्रह प्रकाशित केले आहेत.

सामाजिक परिवर्तनासाठी कार्यरत असलेल्या विविध चळवळींमध्ये त्यांचा सक्रिय सहभाग राहिला आहे. पाणी संघर्ष चळवळ, दुष्काळग्रस्त चळवळ, विद्रोही सांस्कृतिक चळवळ, मराठा क्रांती मोर्चा (समन्वयक म्हणून) तसेच विवाहपूर्व व विवाहोत्तर समुपदेशन चळवळ यामध्ये त्यांनी महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान दिले आहे. त्यांच्या सामाजिक, साहित्यिक आणि जनहिताच्या कार्याची दखल घेत त्यांना दहाहून अधिक समाजभूषण पुरस्कार, राजर्षी शाहू जीवन गौरव पुरस्कार, रत्नगुंज समाजभूषण पुरस्कार, शिवतेज वसगडे गौरव पुरस्कार तसेच श्रावस्ती बहुद्देशीय सेवाभावी संस्थेचा सामाजिक पुरस्कार यांसारख्या अनेक प्रतिष्ठित सन्मानांनी गौरविण्यात आले आहे. त्यांच्या कार्यातून सामाजिक न्याय, लोकजागृती आणि परिवर्तनाची दृढ बांधिलकी सातत्याने दिसून येते.

Advocate Krishna Vithoba Patil is a senior legal practitioner, author, and social activist from Tasgaon in Sangli district, Maharashtra. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and is currently practicing as an advocate at the Sangli District and Sessions Court. He is widely recognized for his forthright views on social issues and his thought-provoking writings. His published works include the books Is India Dying?, The Wind is Our Right!, and Shivaji Beyond the Shield, Sword, and Horse, along with the short story collections Molachi Thev (A Precious Legacy) and Vatani (Partition).

Adv. Patil has been actively involved in several social movements dedicated to bringing about positive change in society. He has made significant contributions to the Water Rights Movement, the Drought-Affected People's Movement, the Rebel Cultural Movement, served as a Coordinator of the Maratha Kranti Morcha, and participated in the Pre-Marital and Post-Marital Counseling Movement. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to society, literature, and public welfare, he has received more than ten Samaj Bhushan Awards, the Rajarshi Shahu Lifetime Achievement Award, the Ratnagunja Samaj Bhushan Award, the Shivtej Vasgade Gaurav Award, and the Social Service Award presented by the Shravasti Multipurpose Charitable Organization. His lifelong work reflects a steadfast commitment to social justice, public awareness, and meaningful social transformation.
