Dr. Vinod Khadse

डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठातून एम.एस्सी. (कृषिविद्या) केल्यानंतर हे भारतीय विज्ञान प्राद्योगिकी विभागाच्या मध्यम कालावधी कृषि हवामान सल्ला सेवा प्रकल्पात संशोधन सहयोगी म्हणून कार्यरत होते. त्यानंतर याच विद्यापीठाच्या अकोला येथील कृषि पर्यावरण केंद्रात त्यांनी संशोधनाचे कार्य पार पाडले. त्यांनी पदव्युत्तर शिक्षण संस्थेतून सेंद्रिय शेती या विषयात पीएच.डी. केली आहे. सध्या अकोला स्थित सेंद्रीय शेती संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण केंद्राचे समन्वयक म्हणून ते कार्यरत आहेत. त्यांनी शेतीतील निरनिराळ्या पैलूंवर कृषि विषयक लेखांद्वारे, आकाशवाणी तसेच दूरदर्शनवरून शेतकऱ्यांचे प्रबोधन केले आहे.

After completing his M.Sc. (Agriculture) from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, he worked as a Research Associate in the Medium Range Agro-Meteorological Advisory Service project of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Later, he carried out research work at the Agro-Meteorology Centre of the same university in Akola. He earned his Ph.D. in Organic Farming from a postgraduate institute.

Currently, he is working as the Coordinator of the Organic Farming Research and Training Centre in Akola. He has contributed to farmer awareness through agricultural articles on various aspects of farming, as well as through programs on All India Radio and television.

Dr. Prashant Joshi

डॉ. पंजाबराव देशमुख कृषि विद्यापीठातील व्यापारी फळ रोपवाटिका, उद्यान विद्या विद्यालय, अकोला येथे प्रभारी अधिकारी म्हणून कार्यरत असून या क्षेत्रात यांना १५ वर्षांचा अनुभव आहे. त्यांनी उद्यान विद्या मधील विविध विषयावर तीन इंग्रजी व चार मराठी पुस्तके तसेच २५ शोधनिबंध प्रसिध्द केले आहेत. संत्रावर्गीय फळांमध्ये गुणवत्ता वाढविण्यासाठी, संत्रा फळझाडाचे विशेष पोषण व सिंचन पध्दतींविषयी संशोधनाचे उल्लेखनीय कार्य केले आहे.

He is currently working as the Officer-in-Charge at the Commercial Fruit Nursery, College of Horticulture, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, and has 15 years of experience in this field. He has published three English and four Marathi books on various subjects in horticulture, along with 25 research papers. He has also carried out significant research work on improving the quality of citrus fruits, as well as on specialized nutrition and irrigation methods for orange fruit trees.

Dr. Bhushan Thakre

यशवंतराव चव्हाण मुक्त विद्यापीठातून यांनी बी.एस्सी. (उद्यान विद्या) पदवी प्राप्त केली आहे. मागील दहा वर्षांपासून ते आधुनिक पध्दतीने संत्रा रोपवाटिका व्यवसाय करीत आहेत. त्यांना संत्रा फलोत्पादनाचे सखोल ज्ञान व फलोत्पादकांच्या समस्यांची चांगली जाणीव असून ऱ्हास झालेल्या संत्रा बागांचे पुनरुज्जीवन करण्यामध्ये त्यांचा प्रत्यक्ष सहभाग आहे. संत्रा रोपवाटिकेतील प्रदीर्घ अनुभवांचा इतर रोपवाटिकाधारकांना तसेच ग्रामीण तरुणांना मार्गदर्शन करण्यामध्ये त्यांना विशेष रूची आहे.

He has obtained a B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. For the past ten years, he has been engaged in the orange nursery business using modern methods. He has in-depth knowledge of orange cultivation and a good understanding of the problems faced by fruit growers, and has been actively involved in the rejuvenation of declining orange orchards. He is particularly interested in guiding other nursery owners as well as rural youth by sharing his extensive experience in orange nursery management.
