About this book

In this book, Renu Gavaskar portrays the admirable struggle of children who nurture their small dreams of education amid dark and difficult circumstances. Living constantly under the shadow of pain and deprivation, these undernourished children look toward education with hope, believing it to be the only path to fulfill their dreams. In this journey, some of them succeed, while others are unable to withstand the pressures of their harsh realities. A powerful and moving depiction of the struggles of young, impressionable children: Soldiers of Dreams (Swapnanche Shiledar).
