वरषा गजेंद्रगडकर या एक बहुआयामी मराठी लेखिका, अनुवादक आणि कंटेंट डेव्हलपर असून त्यांना साहित्य, शिक्षण आणि संवाद क्षेत्रात दोन दशकांहून अधिक अनुभव आहे. त्यां नी बालसाहित्य, सांस्कृतिक लेखन, पर्यावरण विषयक लेखन तसेच सामाजिक विषय अशा विविध क्षेत्रांमध्ये २५ ते ३५ हून अधिक पुस्तके लेखन व अनुवादित केली आहेत. भूगर्भशास्त्रातील शैक्षणिक पार्श्वभूमी आणि पर्यावरणशास्त्रातील पदव्युत्तर शिक्षणामुळे त्यांच्या लेखनात पर्यावरण, भारतीय परंपरा आणि ग्रामीण विकास यांविषयीची सखोल जाणीव दिसून येते. लेखनाबरोबरच त्यांनी शैक्षणिक सामग्री निर्मिती, माहितीपट लेखन आणि ई-लर्निंग प्रकल्पांमध्येही महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदान दिले आहे. बालसाहित्य आणि अनुवाद क्षेत्रातील त्यांच्या कार्यासाठी त्यांना महाराष्ट्र राज्यातील अनेक साहित्य पुरस्कारांनी गौरविण्यात आले असून, त्यामुळे त्या समकालीन मराठी साहित्यातील एक मान्यताप्राप्त आणि आदरणीय लेखिका ठरतात.

Varsha Gajendragadkar is a versatile Marathi writer, translator, and  content developer with over two decades of experience in literature,  education, and communication. She has authored and translated  more than 25-35 books across genres such as children’s literature,  cultural writing,environmental topics, and social issues.  With an academic  background in Geology and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Science,  her work often reflects a deep concern for ecology, Indian traditions, and rural  development. Alongside writing, she has contributed to educational content,  documentary scripting, and e-learning projects. She is also a recipient of several Maharashtra State literary  awards, particularly for her contributions to children’s literature and translation,  making her a respected voice in contemporary Marathi literature.
