मेधा देशमुख भास्करन ही छत्रपती शिवाजी यांच्याबद्दलच्या बेस्टसेलिंग आत्मचरित्राची लेखक आहेत,  Challenging Destiny (2016, The Write Place). हे पुस्तक 2017 च्या Raymond Crossword  Book Awards मध्ये दोन श्रेणीत नामांकित झाले आणि त्याचे मराठीत Zunz Niyatishi आणि हिंदीत  Niyati ko Chunauti या नावाने भाषांतर झाले आहे.

व्यक्तिगत अनुभवांवर आधारित औषध आणि फार्मास्युटिकल्सच्या संवेदनशील जगाविषयीचे त्यांचे पुस्तक,  Prescription of Life (The Write Place), 2018 मध्ये प्रकाशित झाले. त्यांच्या इतर पुस्तकांमध्ये  Frontiers – A Relentless Battle between Aurangzeb and Shivaji (2018, Penguin Random House) आणि Life and Death of Sambhaji (2021, Penguin Random House) यांचा समावेश आहे.  Frontiers चे मराठीत भाषांतर Ranasangram या नावाने झाले आहे. Life and Death of Sambhaji  चे हिंदीत भाषांतर Shivaji Maharaj Ke Suputra ki Shouryagatha या नावाने झाले आहे.  Challenging Destiny आणि Life and Death of Sambhaji हे ऑडिओबुक्स म्हणूनही उपलब्ध आहेत.

मेधा ही मायक्रोबायोलॉजिस्ट आहेत आणि जर्मनी, भारत आणि युनायटेड अरब अमिरातसारख्या देशांमध्ये  अन्न व औषध कंपन्यांमध्ये मार्केटिंग तसेच व्यवसाय विकास क्षेत्रात काम केले आहे. लहानपणापासूनच त्यांनी  मराठी आणि इंग्रजीमध्ये कविता लिहिण्याचा अनुभव घेतला आहे.

मेधाने भारतातील अग्रगण्य वृत्तपत्रांसाठी (Indian Express) तसेच गल्फमधील (Khaleej Times आणि  Gulf News) विविध विषयांवर लेख लिहिले आहेत. सध्या त्या बेंगळुरू, भारत येथे राहतात

Medha Deshmukh Bhaskaran is the author of Chhatrapati Shivaji's bestselling biography, Challenging Destiny (2016, The Write Place). It was nominated in two categories at the Raymond Crossword Book Awards 2017 and has been translated into Marathi (Zunz Niyatishi) and Hindi (Niyati ko Chunauti). Her book on the sensational world of pharmaceuticals and medicines, based on her personal experiences, Prescription of Life (The Write Place), was launched in 2018. Her other books include Frontiers-a Relentless Battle between Aurangzeb and Shivaji (2018. Penguin Random House) and Life and Death of Sambhaji (2021, Penguin Random House). Frontiers has been translated in Marathi (Ranasangram). Life and Death of Sambhaji has been translated into Hindi (Shivaji Maharaj Ke Suputra ki Shouryagatha). Challenging Destiny and Life and Death of Sambhaji are available as audiobooks.

Medha is a microbiologist and has worked for food and pharmaceutical companies in marketing as well as business development in countries like Germany, India and the United Arab Emirates. From a young age, she has dabbled in poetry in Marathi and English. Medha has written articles on a variety of subjects for leading newspapers in India (Indian Express) as well as in the Gulf (Khaleej Times and Gulf News). She currently lives in Bengaluru, India.
