Adi Shankaracharya

सरश्रींचा आध्यात्मिक शोधाचा प्रवास त्यांच्या बालपणापासूनच सुरू झाला होता. हा शोध सुरू असतानाच त्यांनी अनेक प्रकारच्या पुस्तकांचे अध्ययन केले. त्याचबरोबर या शोधकाळात त्यांनी अनेक ध्यानपद्धर्तीचा अभ्यासही केला. त्यांच्यातील या जिज्ञासेने त्यांना अनेक वैचारिक आणि शैक्षणिक संस्थांमध्ये जाण्यासाठी प्रेरित केले. जीवनाचे रहस्य समजण्यासाठी त्यांनी प्रदीर्घ काळ मनन करून आपले शोधकार्य सातत्याने सुरू ठेवले. या शोधातूनच त्यांना 'आत्मबोध' प्राप्त झाला.

आत्मसाक्षात्कारानंतर त्यांना जाणवले की, अध्यात्माचा प्रत्येक मार्ग ज्या शृंखलेने जोडलेला आहे, तो म्हणजे 'समज' (Understanding). आत्मबोधप्राप्तीनंतर त्यांनी अध्यापनाचे कार्य थांबवले आणि जवळजवळ दोन दशकांहूनही अधिक काळ आपले समस्त जीवन मानवजातीच्या कल्याणासाठी आणि आध्यात्मिक विकासासाठी अर्पण केले.

सरश्री म्हणतात, "सत्यप्राप्तीच्या सर्व मार्गांचा आरंभ वेगवेगळ्या मार्गांनी होत असला, तरी सर्वांचा अंत मात्र एकच समज प्राप्त केल्याने होतो. ही 'समज'च सर्व काही असून ती स्वतःमध्ये परिपूर्ण आहे. आध्यात्मिक ज्ञानप्राप्तीसाठी या 'समजे'चे श्रवणच पुरेसे आहे." ही समज प्रकाशमान करण्यासाठी आजपर्यंत त्यांनी आध्यात्मिक विषयांवर तीन हजारांहून अधिक प्रवचने दिली आहेत. या प्रवचनांद्वारे ते अध्यात्मातील अतिशय गहन संकल्पना सहज, सुलभ आणि व्यावहारिक भाषेतसमजावून सांगतात. समाजातील प्रत्येक स्तरावरील मनुष्य सरश्रींद्वारे सांगितल्या जाणाऱ्या या समजेचा लाभ घेऊ शकतो. त्यासाठी कोणत्याही धर्म, जात, उपजात, वर्ण, पंथ वा लिंग यांचे बंधन नसते.

विश्वाच्या प्रत्येक कानाकोपऱ्यांतील लोक आज 'तेजज्ञान'च्या अनोख्या ज्ञानप्रणालीचा लाभ घेत आहेत. याच व्यवस्थेचा आणखी एक महत्त्वपूर्ण भाग म्हणजे, दररोज सकाळी आणि रात्री ९ वाजून ९ मिनिटांनी लाखो लोक विश्वशांतीसाठी प्रार्थना करत आहेत.

The spiritual journey of Sarshree began in his childhood. While continuing this search, he studied many different kinds of books. During this period of exploration, he also practiced and studied various meditation methods. His deep curiosity inspired him to visit many intellectual and educational institutions. In order to understand the mystery of life, he spent a long time in contemplation and continued his research with dedication. Through this quest, he eventually attained self-realization (Atmabodh).

After attaining self-realization, he realized that the thread connecting every spiritual path is understanding. After this realization, he stopped his teaching profession and devoted more than two decades of his life entirely to the welfare of humanity and to spiritual development.

Sarshree says, “Although the paths to truth may begin in different ways, they all ultimately end in the same understanding. This ‘understanding’ is everything in itself and is complete. For attaining spiritual knowledge, simply listening to this understanding is enough.”

To illuminate this understanding, he has delivered more than three thousand spiritual discourses on various subjects. Through these talks, he explains very deep spiritual concepts in a simple, easy, and practical language. People from every level of society can benefit from the understanding shared by Sarshree. There are no restrictions of religion, caste, sub-caste, community, sect, or gender.
